Constructs a GBOX section.
Constructs a GBOX section with the center at the origin
(0, 0)
, with six parameters defining dimensions.- Parameters:
dim_1 (float) – Width (x) of the GBOX-section
dim_2 (float) – Depth (y) of the GBOX-section
dim_3 (float) – Thickness of top flange
dim_4 (float) – Thickness of bottom flange
dim_5 (float) – Thickness of webs
dim_6 (float) – Spacing between webs
material (Material) – Material to associate with this geometry

GBOX section geometry

The following example creates a GBOX cross-section with a depth of 2.5 and width of 6.0:
